My stay at Miharaya Ryokan was absolutely delightful. The traditional room I stayed in, called Kaeda, was spacious, clean, and exuded a cozy atmosphere. The tatami smelled amazing and the view from the room was breathtaking. I could see the river below and the majestic mountains in the distance. It was truly a sight to behold. The room had all the necessary amenities, including a small fridge, hot water dispenser, and even a safe. The shared bathroom on the third floor was clean and well-maintained. It was a pleasant surprise to have a toilet room attached to my room as well. The staff, although they didn't speak much English, were incredibly kind and accommodating. The location of the ryokan was perfect, right in the heart of the town, but still peaceful and quiet. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during my time in this charming mountain town.

The hotel had a great location in the heart of a charming town, with restaurants and shops just a stone's throw away. the room was spacious and cozy, with traditional Japanese décor that added a special touch. the bathroom facilities were kept very clean and equipped with necessary amenities. the breakfast was delicious and served with a smile, providing a great start to the day.
That the hotel did not have an elevator, so carrying luggage up to the room on higher floors could be a bit challenging.

This hotel offers great value for money with its traditional Japanese atmosphere and beautiful views of the Yoshida river. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the private toilet and basin in my room, providing extra convenience during my stay. Additionally, the location is superb, just across the river from the tourist information center and a short walk to a delicious restaurant.
All was perfect during my stay.

The room had a cozy and homely atmosphere that made us feel comfortable during our Xmas stay. We also enjoyed the incredible view of the river and mountains that provided a sense of relaxation and serenity. the breakfast offered two different options, including a traditional Japanese breakfast that was enjoyable. the location was also great, being only a short walk from certain attractions around the town.
The shared bathroom was not what we expected, and we found it uncomfortable to use. the lack of blinds meant we were woken up very early by the sun and did not get the rest we needed.

The traditional Japanese room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful view of the river and mountains, perfect for a relaxing and quiet stay. The staff was friendly and provided great service, offering a delicious breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. The location was ideal, as it was close to the main part of town and easy to get around.
The shared bathroom and shower facilities were not as convenient as having a private ensuite, and could be an issue for those who prefer more privacy. the location of the bus interchange was out of the way and required a taxi ride, which incurred an extra expense.

Great central location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable bedding and robes provided. Delicious Japanese breakfast served.
